How to Play Drawly

🎮 Create or Join a Session

Create a Session: Click "Create Session" on the welcome screen, enter your player name (1-15 characters), and you'll receive a unique 4-digit session code.

Join a Session: Click "Join Session," enter your name and the 4-digit code shared by your friend, then click join!

Tip: Share your session code with a friend to start playing together instantly.

⏳ Wait for Your Opponent

Once you create or join a session, you'll see a waiting screen. The game starts automatically when both players are connected!

You'll see your opponent's name and a "Ready to Play" message when they join.

Pro tip: Games are best with 2 players - invite someone before creating a session!

✏️ Drawing Your Turn

When it's your turn to draw, you'll receive a secret word that only you can see. Your goal is to draw that word so your opponent can guess it!

Drawing Tools:

• Brush: Draw with different colors (black, red, blue, green, yellow, purple)
• Brush Sizes: Choose from 3 sizes (small, medium, large)
• Eraser: Fix mistakes or clear parts of your drawing
• Clear Canvas: Start over completely if needed

You have 60 seconds to help your opponent guess the word!

Remember: No writing letters or numbers - draw only!

💭 Guessing Your Turn

When your opponent is drawing, you'll see their artwork in real-time. Your job is to guess what they're drawing!

How to Guess:

• Type your guess in the chat box at the bottom
• Press Enter or click Send to submit your guess
• You have 60 seconds to figure it out
• Keep trying different words until you get it right!

Correct Guess: You'll see a success message and earn 1 point! 🎉

Time Runs Out: The round ends and the correct word is revealed.

🔄 Alternating Rounds

Drawly consists of 6 rounds where players alternate between drawing and guessing:

• Rounds 1, 3, 5: Player 1 draws, Player 2 guesses
• Rounds 2, 4, 6: Player 2 draws, Player 1 guesses

After each round, you'll see the results and current scores before moving to the next round.

Stay focused - every round counts toward your final score!

🏆 Game Over & Rematch

After 6 rounds, the game ends and shows the final results:

• Winner: Player with the most points wins! 🥇
• Tie: If both players have the same score, it's a draw! 🤝

Want to play again? Click the "Rematch" button to start a new game with the same opponent. Scores reset and you're ready for another round!

Done playing? Click "Exit to Menu" to return to the main screen and play with someone new.
